It all started about a month ago, I came across a YouTube video by a guy called Raiken Profit who would thrift and resell. It wasn’t anything I had ever considered, but then I found myself watching video after video. It seemed within reach and doable, like most people any little bit of extra money that my husband and I could bring in would be a world of difference for my current situation. I probably sat and watched about 30 videos that day. Then every day after that I was completely obsessed with watching the videos I turned it into my job just trying to learn everything I possibly could. Finally my husband and I felt confident enough and we jumped in did our first thrift spent about 100 dollars on men’s clothing. We got some good stuff and we also got some stuff that was going to be near impossible to move. However once we started making sales and the first 4 items paid for our entire haul we were hooked. It’s been a lot of work and dedication and I have had to spend almost every day watching videos reading blogs searching completed listings. Just over a month later we have made about 1500 dollars. With that under our belt we are starting to really realize that we could probably make a go of this. It only made us jump in more and accumulate a bunch of stock, upgrade to an Ebay store, start really hitting social media hard, and networking.
